Join our five-year mission to offer Hope and Healing to One Million Women/Girls Globally. Accomplishing this mission will take the collective efforts of individuals, organizations, and other entities who serve women/girls to commit to rewriting this tragic story of fatherlessness for every woman and girl. This is a lifetime opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women and girls who have carried these invisible wounds far too long. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SERIOUS, MOTIVATED LEADERS & ORGANIZATIONS WHO TRULY WANT to be a part of the solution of helping females flourish beyond fatherlessness.
The Fatherless Daughters Network is an online platform dedicated to raising awareness about the profound impact of fatherlessness on a female's life. This expanding network offers educational services, resources, and both online and in-person events aimed at mitigating the negative effects of growing up without a father. Through monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings, activities, workshops, retreats, and conferences led by our National President and Fatherless Daughter Advocate Tonya Fairley, women and girls can access empowering tools for healing, support, and sisterhood. Inspired by our founder, Angela Carr Patterson’s groundbreaking work, "The Journey to Being Process™," this community, along with helps women and girls redefine their identity beyond fatherlessness, reclaim their worth, and craft a new, empowering narrative for their lives. Who is a Fatherless Daughter?
We define a fatherless daughter as a female who grew up with an unattached, unavailable, absent, or flawed father-daughter relationship. We all have a biological father, but when the term fatherless is used, it means that the father figure has not been fully present in the daughter's life. This one key missing element in a female's life can create many negative and unthinkable consequences in her life. Studies show that girls and women who have unstable father figures are more liable to have unplanned pregnancies, low self-esteem, high school and college dropouts, use drugs/alcohol, experience poverty and divorce, and exhibit sexually promiscuous behaviors.
The impact of an absent, unattached, or unavailable father on a daughter’s life is profound, shaping how she perceives herself and the world around her. When a father demonstrates unconditional love and approval, he helps build a strong foundation for his daughter’s self-worth, self-love, and self-value, which supports her throughout adulthood. Conversely, if a girl experiences rejection, emotional coldness, or withdrawal from her father, her sense of self-worth may be negatively affected. If her father is simply not present or fails to meet her needs, her self-confidence can become distorted or nonexistent. Additionally, her understanding of loving relationships and provisions may become skewed or dysfunctional, leading to feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, and a lack of safety. There begins The Making of a Fatherless Daughter.

"Hope and Healing to Flourish Beyond Fatherlessness"
The Journey to Being Process™ is a captivating path of self-discovery, growth, and empowerment for women and girls who grew up with an unattached, unavailable, or absent father. The program is based on a belief that a Fatherless Daughter’s Core issue results from a misplaced sense of identity and an intense desire to be loved, valued, and validated.
As females, we receive our identity through our paternal relationships and connections. When this relationship bond fails to exist, we spend our entire lives searching for significance and love through paths that do not serve us. Yet, our pain will NEVER HEAL until we heal our misplaced sense of identity. Because of this misplaced sense of identity, we struggle with feelings of rejection, inadequacy, and insecurity. This causes many fatherless daughters to view themselves inaccurately.
Our lives will never be different from who our self-image says we are, and it dictates everything we think, say, and do. Yet, when we release that old limiting self-image and begin to see ourselves as who and what we really are, we will automatically become that person. With a new and authentic self-image of a valued, healed, and lovable person, we will no longer seek validation outside ourselves. When this shift happens, our thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors change, and we will become exactly who we were meant to be.
